Name: Rätsel Koch
Appearance: Rätsel stands fairly tall compared to most men, with a pointed face and neck-length, wavy blond hair. He usually dresses in a black armor that serves as protection for his chest and abdomen -- the rest of his body is not visibly armored, except for his metallic boots and a pair of knee-pads. His clothes are largely brown and earthlike in tone, and seem designed for comfort and ease of movement as much as any style. His stance is one of confidence -- you'd have to be an idiot to tangle with him, at least in his own opinion...
Fighting Style: Outmaneuvers opponents while shooting holes in them.
Weapon of choice: Heavy powerful handguns
Starting equipment: two Colt Single Actions
Personality: He appears to be happy-go-lucky and good-natured, and acts like a fool, but has been shown to be very perceptive. Ratsel is emotionally distant, refusing to allow anyone to become too close to him, in fear of harming them by allowing them to get involved with his personal problems.
History: Ratsel was born into the Garstiens, a clan of aristocrats. His pedigree from birth was not just a life of relative comfort on the home-front, but an expectation to be an excellent soldier -- The Garstiens had a long history of military geniuses.
It was when he had joined the army did his powers come into light. The higher ups were interested in the recent influx of metas in the military, so they had created an elite group called the Aggressors with Ratsel as one of the founding members. It was there that he had risen quickly through the ranks and made his name into a legend. Unfortunately it is this ranking that had placed him in an unfortunate position during the Elpis reactor incident.
It is unknown what truly happened during the Elpis incident. What is known that Ratsel had killed his wife but he was not charged, he had came out a hero for stopping terrorists from destroying a nuclear factory. Immediately after the Elpis incident Ratsel had resigned from the military. He had wondered around aimlessly for several years and abandoned his family name. It has been 5 years since then… many events have changed his life and now it was time to wield the scythe of Harpe.Powers/Abilities/Things
Speed - Ratsel's mutation is really a very minor ability, though he can still move as fast as most others with a speed enhancement, its only in his legs. Even then he has a tendency to trip over things while moving at high speeds. This was later solved however when he had acquired the Aussenseiters from a "friend".
Aussenseiters - These strange contraptions can only be described as a pair of off road roller blades. It is unknown how they work, only that they do work on almost any terrain. Ratsel combines his speed with the Aussenseiters to out maneuver his opponents while still able to fill his opponents with hot lead. They have a black, yellow, and red motif which signify his signature colors.
Cooking - Yes, cooking, there is nothing mutant about this ability. His prowess in battle is matched only by his prowess in the kitchen. No matter what ingredients are in hand, he can make it into a gourmet dish. However his taste buds have been called into question more then once, most of the time its ok but then again you never know when your eating fish head pie… There is one thing you need to watch out for and that is his health drinks. While these paradoxical drinks can cure almost any ailment and restore energy, their tastes is bad enough to cause people to stagger, and on some occasions faint. The problem here is that the taste comes first THEN the effects. Whenever you're eating one of his dishes, your taste buds are going to go crazy, for better or for worse.
